Lost Sheep: Luke 15:1-7

How we all been the Lost Sheep

Luke 15

The Lost Sheep

1Now all the (A)tax collectors and the sinners were coming near Him to listen to Him.
2Both the Pharisees and the scribes began to grumble, saying, "This man receives sinners and (B)eats with them."
3So He told them this parable, saying,
4"(C)What man among you, if he has a hundred sheep and has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open pasture and go after the one which is lost until he finds it?
5"When he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
6"And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!'
7"I tell you that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.

As I have read this in church and on my own or in Sunday school, it has always showed me that I have strayed alittle from the flock ones or twice in my life. However, I was always found by a shephard of the lord or a sign has happen where God showed me he still loved me and wanted me back. In my prayers that I say for others for God to help and in reverse for my creator lord god, I have been taught that I need to repent for my acts against my fellow brother and sister of god. I realize I must help other reach the teaching and the light of Jesus's teaching in the bible by interrelating to modern day for them to understand that the bible is not out dater but is the foundation of alot of things that happen to us today and definitely happens to me all the time. I can feel god is in the middle of it all.

I know God waits for me to repent for my sins so he will bring me back to the flock of humanity of the righteous and I know I am not perfect because we are human and we are bound to do error but it is our saving grace to try to save our souls by loving one another and to bring back the stray sheep that has forgotten or misunderstood God in some way or the other. If we can save our brethern then we should at least try to bring them back to the fold of the flock or pray for them to come back. God would appreciate what we have done and realize we are loving and care about our fellow sheep or human. I hope you enjoy the interperspective of my journey throught he bible. God with you all and bless you with health and love. Amen
